QuickStartUni is designed to support students and parents of students who are preparing for university. We provide practical resources, guidance, and reassurance to help make the transition as stress-free as possible.

2. I am/my child is heading to university this September—when should I start preparing?

Ideally, the summer before university is the best time to start. But whether you're early or last-minute, we have created resources to help you and your child feel prepared.

3. What kind of support does QuickStartUni offer parents?

We offer a number of resources and guidance on topics like finances, daily living, mental health, and more (full section lists in product descriptions). Our goal is to make parents feel just as informed, involved, and confident about the transition as future students.

4. Is QuickStartUni relevant if I am/my child is living at home while studying?

Yes. Even if you/your child is staying at home, university brings major changes in independence, responsibility, and routines. Our resources are packed with advice and tools from all areas of university life so they are still very much applicable and helpful!

5. Do you offer information about specific universities or courses?

We don’t provide university-specific details, but we do help you navigate the common challenges all students face during the transition to university life, regardless of where or what they’re studying.

6. Can I access QuickStartUni if I haven't/my child hasn’t officially confirmed their place yet?

Absolutely. Whether you've/they’ve accepted an offer or are still deciding, it’s never too early to start preparing or learning what’s ahead.

7. Is this only for UK universities?

Yes. Our advice is tailored for students starting at universities across the UK. If your child is studying abroad, some parts may still be useful, but our tools are UK-focused.
